A place to list whether, and how much, magazines and websites pay their writers. We'll post 'em as you report 'em. Intended to be informational, not judgmental. (Yes, we know there will be conflicting reports. Different writers get paid differently for different pieces. We still want to know how much you got paid.)
SUBMISSIONS:
All submissions will be posted anonymously, one title at a time. To report a rate, please click the "submit" or "ask" buttons up top of this page. Or you can email us: whopayswriters@gmail.com
Please tell us:
-Name of publication
-What you got paid
-When it was (year)
-Word count of piece
-Type of piece (e.g., reported feature, personal essay, short story, Q&A, etc.)
-Feel free to include relevant context such as issues with nonpayment, etc.-- but that said, this list is mainly about the Benjamins.
